The clip, shared on William and Kate\u2019s social media pages, comes after\u00a0they also shared a brand new snap of their eldest son\u00a0for his birthday today. In the footage, George is shown laughing as he and\u00a0Princess Charlotte\u00a0both carry a giggling\u00a0Prince Louis\u00a0in their arms during a photoshoot in Norfolk.<\/p>\n

The video, filmed by Kensington Palace\u2019s in-house social media team, also captures the trio smiling as they stride along holding hands, with\u00a0Louis in the middle of his brother and sister.<\/p>\n

The video was released just over an hour after the photo, which shows George outdoors, smiling and leaning on a rustic wooden gate, wearing a checked shirt, gilet and a friendship bracelet on his left wrist. The picture was taken earlier this year in Norfolk by photographer Josh Shinner, who also took\u00a0a recent birthday portrait\u00a0of\u00a0Prince Louis.<\/p>\n

The new picture, which was was accompanied by the message: \u201cHappy 12th Birthday to\u00a0Prince George!\u201d followed by a cake emoji, comes as George and his siblings\u00a0Princess Charlotte and Louis are enjoying the long summer break from school alongside their parents, who are also on their summer break from royal duties.<\/p>\n

\nGeorge\u2019s last big public outing came alongside sister Charlotte when they both accompanied their\u00a0parents William and Kate to the Wimbledon men\u2019s singles final, where they watched Jannik Sinner beat Carlos Alcaraz to take the title.<\/p>\n

Before that he took part in Trooping the Colour last month as well as VE Day commemorations in May, carrying out his most high-profile engagement to date\u00a0by joining a veterans tea party and listening to their stories.<\/p>\n
