The toddlers managed to slip outside after their great-grandmother, who suffers from Alzheimer\u2019s, unintentionally left a back door open. Their mother, 37-year-old Jenny Callazzo, found them unconscious in the water on a Thursday morning.<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"entry-content\">\n<p>Despite the efforts of emergency responders, both children were pronounced dead two hours later. Jenny lives in the home with her husband Sonny, their six children, and her grandmother. A relative confirmed that the accident occurred due to the open door, which allowed the twins to access the pool unnoticed.<\/p>\n<p>Aerial footage showed the pool was covered in algae, drawing attention to potential safety risks.
