So, last night was our Christmas Eve dinner at a nice restaurant where my mom was supposed to meet my fiancée’s parents for the first time. I was excited, but when I saw her walk in wearing a bright Christmas sweater with a snowman and those ridiculous toy reindeer antlers on her head, I couldn’t believe it! 
I mean, come on! She looked like a kid next to my fiancée’s parents, who were dressed to the nines in luxurious outfits. I could practically see their eyebrows raise when they saw her. What kind of impression does she think that makes?
I guess everyone would be embarrassed in my place, wouldn’t they? What would you have done if this were your mom?!
